Since moving to NYC from Michigan to pursue comedy, Susan has worked at clubs such as Catch a Rising Star and The Improv and performed regularly in shows including Eating It and The Andy Borowitz Show.

In 2003, Susan performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival in the "New Faces" and "Dating It" shows, then returned in 2005 to appear in "Dating It" again. In the Fall of 2005, she was part of the NYC Underground Comedy Festival.

Showing a more serious side, Susan wrote and performed a moving one-person show entitled "Neurotica" about a time in her life when she was convinced that her cell phone had given her Hand Cancer.
