Q: What's the first joke you ever wrote?
A: The first joke I ever wrote was a self effacing joke. Believe it or not a 6"3 300 plus pound black man can be intimidating to some people; so I wore a big pink shirt and pink kangol hat; and told the ladies in the audience audience that if they had a stomach ache...I was their "BIG" bottle of Pepto Bizmol. Since that first joke; I have always loved the feeling of getting the first big laugh out of a audience.

Q: What is the source of your sense of humor?
A: The source of my sense of humor just comes naturally from my explosive personality that is just bursting with FLAVOR!!! No; just kidding--I get sooo much of my comic timing and quick wit from my mama. Also my uncles are some real characters; and I grew up with some funny cats. So, humor was always around me; comedy was just a natural progression for me.

Q: In school, were you the class clown or quiet nerd?
A: I was the class clown football star.

Q: Is it better to be feared or loved on your way up the comedy ladder?
A: I think it's better to be loved on my way up the comedy ladder; fear brings extreme hate and discontent. If I am loved; I will get more opportunities.

Q: Your stardom: a karmic inevitability or old fashioned luck?
A: My stardom would be a karmic inevitability. It's what I am supposed to do and be...A STAR BABY...look at the name "$HAWN BANK$" it has a ring doesn't it? Hollywood here I come!
