Rod Thompson is a natural born comedian, gifted with a laid back style and delivery, which is infused with his own unique brand of southern charm. A pure delight, Rod has the ability to build and sustain hysteria in any venue he performs in. He is one of the hottest comedians around, so get ready to laugh your gluttenus maximus off (rod swears that's a part of the human anatomy).

Rod's television appearances include "Def Comedy Jam", "Bet's Comic View" and "Showtime at the Apollo". Most recently, Rod appeared on "Premium Blend" on Comedy Central" as well as the dvd's "Big Black Comedy Show vol. 2" with Monique and "P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy". He has been featured in the films "Love Chronicles" and "Player's Ball". On stage, Rod has opened for Patti Labelle, was on the Cedric "The Entertainer" comedy revue tour and has shared stage time many comedy greats including the kings of comedy.

Rod was the 2003 winner of the Bay Area Comedy Competition in Oakland and most recently was a part of the bet comedy showcase at the Improv in Los Angeles and headlined the 2005 Montreal comedy festival.
