Paul Gilmartin

comedian Paul Gilmartin is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington, with a B.A. in Theatre and Drama. Before becoming a stand-up comedian, he appeared in numerous plays in the Chicago theatre scene, and studied at the famed Second City Theatre.

He has been nominated for a CableAce award for his work as co-host of "Dinner and a Movie", which is in it's 7th season and can be seen every Monday night on TBS.

Paul has performed as a stand-up in clubs around the country, and has appeared on such shows as: Politically Incorrect, Late Friday, VH1's The List, HBO Comedy Showcase and MTV's Half-Hour Comedy Hour, and he has performed his stand-up live at the 1995 Montreal Comedy Festival and the 2000 Aspen Comedy Festival.

As a sketch actor, he has performed on "Not Neccessarily the Elections" on HBO, and in "Sketchapalooza" at the 1996 Aspen Comedy Festival. He has written for the Emmy awards as well as Dennis Miller. He also pleases thousands of daily visitors with funny audio clips at his own site, paulgilmartin.com. When he is assured that cameras will be present, he likes to work with the less-fortunate.
