Growing up with an opera singer father Benjamin played classical piano since childhood. His comedy career started when doing stand up was asked to be a cast member of the MTV show Punk'd. In 2006 Owen was given a small roll in the hit movie "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry" along side Adam Sandler and Kevin James. This led to a large roll in the Happy Madison film "The House Bunny" starring Anna Farris, Colin Hanks, and Katherine Mcfee.
