Originally from Rochester NY, Marianne moved to NYC after graduating from the Syracuse University Drama Department in 1998. She was a regular at Stand Up NY in Manhattan and produced her own comedy shows anywhere she could even if it meant a bar in a subway station or a restaurant basement. She was a semi-finalist at the 2003 Boston Comedy Festival and the winner of the Hollywood Improv Comedy Contest in 2002. Being a regular comic commentator on VH1 makes her a favorite at colleges and clubs across the country.
