Marga Gomez, who as been described as a "Latina Lily Tomlin" and as a "Lesbian Larry the Cable Guy," is the winner of the GLAAD Award for Off-Broadway Theater and a Drama Desk Award nominee. She is the writer /performer of five critically acclaimed solo plays and two others that weren't too bad. Gomez is also one of America's first openly gay comedians with appearances on LOGO network, Comedy Central and PBS. For her third engagement with Miami Light, Gomez will serve up "Long Island Iced Latina" a new solo comedy that sold out Joe's Pub as part of Teatro Stagefest in 2007.
