Q: What's the first joke you ever wrote?
A: The first joke I wrote was, "I had a Middle-Eastern friend and I was a afraid of him. So Iraqed and Iran." Hey I was 10 years old, give me a break.
Q: What is the source of your sense of humor?
A: The sources of my sense of humor are random thoughts about my life and others. Especially the people I grew up with.
Q: In school, were you the class clown or the quiet nerd?
A: I was a class clown but a secret nerd.
Q: Is it better to be feared or loved on your way up the comedy ladder?
A: Definitely loved. The Dallas comedy scene is a great scene. It encourages comics to do their thing, not try to prove how awesome they are.
Though we are all "competing" for spots at essentially three local clubs, we have a love for each other. We put together shows and book each other, hang out, and help each other with writing bits.
Everyone wants to destroy what they fear so why not be loved. awwwww...tear!
Q: Your stardom: a karmic inevitability or old fashioned luck?
A: I think it's luck and a lot of brown nosing. Luckily, I've already got that covered. P.S. I'm black...cheesy.
