Cristela Alonzo
Cristela Alonzo was born in a small, southern Texas border town called San Juan, the youngest of four siblings, to a single Mexican immigrant mother.
Right from her elementary school years, Cristela would bring home straight A's, except in conduct, where she habitually received B's, alongside comments that usually read, "...likes to disrupt class by making jokes and distracting classmates."
Now, as an adult, she has luckily found a way to talk about her love of pop culture, and use her sarcasm, to convey her thoughts and life stories with audiences across the country, including recently in the South Beach Comedy Festival.
Within three years, Cristela has attained numerous accomplishments, including touring with Carlos Mencia on his successful "Punisher Tour", sponsored, in part, by Comedy Central, and working as a writer on Comedy Central's "Mind of Mencia".
When not touring, Cristela lives in Los Angeles, CA.
